Planning
L.A.B. Services design office team offer clients the benefit of over 30 years of practical experience to plan your laboratory and advise on the most suitable system, materials and style to suit individual needs within the budget whether your requirement is for a one off fume cupboard or complete turnkey project. Full detailed drawings together with an item by item schedule and specification are issued for approval prior to manufacturing and installation.

Manufacturing
L.A.B. Services new factory is situated in the Kent growth town of Ashford with excellent access via the motorway system to the whole of the country and via the channel tunnel to the rest of Europe. The factory is staffed by tradesmen equally familiar with modern and traditional materials and construction using up to date machinery and technology. Stringent checks are made for quality and performance of all products to ensure the highest standards are maintained.

Installation
L.A.B. Services site engineers in full liaison with clients representatives manage, co-ordinate and programme the various trades, ensuring operatives carry out the installation to meet with the standards specified resulting in less disruption and on site time than experienced with multi-subletting of the contract.

Commissioning
Testing is carried out upon completion of the installation with a full 12 months defects period (additional to statutory rights) offered on all equipment. After sale service contracts can be arranged to suit client’s maintenance budgets.

Fume Cupboard Design Ltd successfully trial new worktop

Fume Cupboard Design Ltd trialled a new work surface this summer and hailed it a success.  We have installed Velstone 25mm Laboratory work tops at Cranbrook School in Kent and Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College at their Hammersmith campus in 2 refurbishments all the clients have been happy with the product and on site operatives found it easy to install with an outstanding seamless joint.  The new work top is called Velstone and was supplied by Velstone International
